About the Course
The purpose of knowledge management system based on the requirements of ISO 30401 is to support organizations to develop a management system that effectively promotes and enables value-creation through knowledge. Value-creation through knowledge is considered as a strategic differentiator for organizations in terms of performance and excellence in either product or service delivery.

KM is a holistic approach to improving learning and effectiveness through optimization of the use of knowledge.

At the end of this course, participants will:

Understand terms and definitions used in knowledge management;
Learn how to define context of the organization relative to knowledge management;
Be able to identify relevant stakeholders’ requirements on knowledge management;
Understand how to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve a knowledge management system, including the processes needed for its implementation;
Understand the different activities necessary for knowledge development;
Learn the specific clause requirements of ISO 30401 from leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement.
