Arbee’s Chain of Bakeshop, of the Mighty L&K Food Corporation, organized a two-day in-house training on Supervisory Skills Development Program held last August 1 and 2, 2017 at the Cebu City Sports Club. Participants were employees tasked to lead the different departments of the organization. Most of the attendees were new to the concepts and principles introduced during the supervisory skills development training.
The objective of the training is to prepare and equip the leaders of the company in both leadership and management roles. Topics included planning, leading, organising and control, problem-solving and decision-making, coaching and mentoring, as well as understanding the difference between leadership and management.
The participants were able to relate their day-to-day duties and responsibilities with the experiences shared during the training. “Very well explained. I have gained a lot of ideas especially tools on how to be an effective supervisor” said one participant on the lectures and activities delivered by AGF Consulting Group.
