There is no way but up for Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA). The leadership and staff of MCIAA has formally kicked-off preparation activities for its upcoming ISO certification audits. Led by Atty. Steve Dicdican, General Manager of MCIAA, the airport authority is set to achieve global certification for its Quality Management System.
“We are humbled by the trust and confidence given to us by MCIAA. Our team is more inspired and engaged by this confidence, to guide our new partner, MCIAA, toward ISO 9001:2015 certification” stated by Jong Fernandez of AGF Consulting Group.
The MCIAA is in charge of operating and maintaining the Mactan International Airport, which is currently the premier gateway to the Central Visayas. The MCIAA provides airport safety and security, and also implements airport rules and regulations.
The Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) has again made the list of the 25 best airports in Asia. The latest survey released by the travel guide and review website “The Guide to Sleeping in Airports” (TGSA) showed that MCIA ranked 13th this year, up a notch from last year. In 2015, the country’s second busiest airport was in 18th place.
